Bipasha Basu and Shilpa Shetty join Farah Khan on their episode of Tere Mere Beach Mein on Sunday to discuss being girls in their family’s which have no sons. Bipasha was all tears when her family and beau John Abraham spoke about her strength as a daughter who has never complained about any problems she has endured. She also went on to speak about the importance of her parents in her life while simultaneously fulfilling her dreams. Basu now supports her family, has bought her parents a house and cars too. Joining her in a similar fashion is Shilpa Shetty who too has taken on the role of a son in her family too.

On a lighter note, the actresses joked about their respective boyfriends. Bipasha admitted to carrying a hammer with her when she first arrived in Mumbai while Shilpa spoke about belonging to the Bunt tribe which celebrates the birth of a daughter rather than a son. While they both indirectly admitted that they would eventually like to get married, they both said they would stay close to home and continue to remain sons to their families. Collaboratively, they enacted a scene from a daily soap which had audiences in splits and towards the end danced to Shilpa Shetty’s U.P Bihar number.

The Indian Independence day carnival this year in Chicago was an exuberant event with many Bollywood celebrities like Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan attending, but one star decided not to show up and disappointed many of her fans in the US. It was dusky bombshell, Bipasha Basu, and the reason was; she was getting only a part of her entire remuneration. Certainly, not fair!

Bips was in London with her Johnny bravo, John Abraham, and had to take a flight for Chicago to be the part of the grand South Asian Carnival on 15 August but to her shock; the cheque didn’t arrive in time. The lady was not ready to compromise on the financial grounds as the organizers of the show agreed only to pay a part of her fee upfront.

“Katrina, Saif, Kareena were holidaying there but I had to take a nine-hour flight to Chicago. I didn’t want to fly without any confirmation,” Bipasha was quoted as saying.

So instead Bipasha spent her time shopping with John for stuff for her new place and the sexy duo even managed to fit in a photo shoot for Harpers Bazaar magazine.
